My name is Lisa Garrett, and I am proud to call both the United States and Costa Rica home. After more than 14 years living in this extraordinary country, I’ve experienced life across several stunning regions—from the beaches of Guanacaste to the vibrant communities of Tamarindo and beyond. These experiences have given me invaluable insight into Costa Rica’s lifestyle, culture, and real estate landscape.

While I’ve worked with a number of small businesses over the years, launching The Garrett Group has been the most rewarding chapter of all. Entrepreneurship brings challenges, but it also allows me to offer something rare: highly personalized property management services and hands-on guest care tailored to both homeowners and travelers.

My own experience as a foreign resident in Costa Rica gives me a unique perspective and a client-focused approach—whether it’s helping owners maximize rental income, navigate real estate investments, or ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, luxurious Costa Rican vacation.

I have lived in Costa Rica for almost 13 years and have had the pleasure to live in a couple different areas in this beautiful country. I have worked for other small businesses here but being on my own has its challengers but it does allow me the flexibility to give specialized care to my clients. My experiences living in a foreign country has allow me to help guest and owners with a customized approach to help meet their goals. The Garrett Group helps with infrastructure development in growing communities to rental and property management to concierge services. Our Legal, Accounting and construction/maintenance team helps to create a professional and personalized approach to every situation and every client. We are all client focused which is very important and we like to set a new standard of excellence in all we do. I am privileged to have such a warm and caring team.
